Lesson 0.3 · Module 0, Set-up
Open a workspace and make it yours
Why a folder beats a chat window, the four-folder structure this course uses, and the context file that pays for itself in a week.
Everything Antigravity does well depends on it looking at a real folder. So the first real decision is what goes in that folder.
Make the folder
Create a folder anywhere you like — call it taskflow-pm — and
open it with File → Open Folder. Inside it, make four subfolders:
| Folder | What lives there |
|---|---|
context/ | Things that stay true: the company brief, the personas, the metric definitions, the strategy. Rarely edited, constantly referenced. |
research/ | Raw input. Interview transcripts, support exports, competitor notes, survey CSVs. Never edited, only read. |
drafts/ | Work in progress. PRDs, one-pagers, updates. |
shipped/ | Things that went out. Useful mostly as examples of the house style to imitate. |
The split that matters is context/ against research/. Context
is what you want the agent to assume; research is what you want it to cite. Keeping them
apart is what lets you say “use the personas, but only claim what the transcripts
support” and have that mean something.
Write the one file that pays for itself
Create context/company.md and put in it the things you explain to every
new joiner. For this course, that is the TaskFlow brief —
the full brief is on this site, and you can copy it
straight in. For your own work, it is roughly:
- What the product is, in one sentence a stranger would understand
- Who buys it and who uses it, and why those are different people
- The three or four metrics you are actually judged on, defined precisely
- What you have already decided and are not revisiting this quarter
- Words your company uses oddly — every company has five
Half a page is enough. The test is whether a competent PM who read only this file would stop asking you obvious questions.
Then check it took
Open the agent panel and ask something the file answers and general knowledge does not:
Read @context/company.md. In two sentences, who is TaskFlow’s
buyer, and how is that different from its daily user?
If the answer is specific — the admin who needs governance, the engineer who wants speed — the context is landing. If it is generic, the file is too vague. Fix the file, not the prompt. This is the loop you will run for the rest of the course.
Whatever you put in the folder gets sent to a model when the agent reads it. Do not put customer personal data, unredacted contracts, credentials or anything under NDA in a practice workspace. Use the fictional TaskFlow material instead — that is what it is for.
